As a French teacher, I use this app with my AP French students, and this has been great.

Love this app. Im an advanced French student, and after all the levels of pimsleur, this is a great next step. Very practical vocabulary.

Just used once or twice, now its impossible to open...even updated to latest version. Really waste money! Please somebody fix this bug!

I had this app for a week and a half. I absolutely loved everything about it. It is a great educational tool for beginners and up to advanced levels. However, I tried to open it today and it kept crashing. I deleted and redownloaded it to no avail. When this is fixed it will be a terrific app, bit for now I cant access it.

This worked well for about a week and now I literally cannot even open it. It crashes every time I try. Please fix this. This is a great app but its pointless if it doesnt work.

My French is rusty, but good enough that I want to be able to make sense of written and spoken texts. This app allows me to do this while expanding my vocabulary and understanding. Works fine so far on my ipad2 retina display with ios6.

Great app. I strongly recommend it for learning French language. This is an excellent application for those who would like to learn, improve their French language. It allows you to listen and the same time follow the written text. It never crashed on my IPad. I do not understand why a few users have this issue.

Very good app. Good vocabulary exercises, good use of different learning modalities.

Well worth the money. You will learn a lot of advanced words and grammar. Learning from real newscasts teaches you a lot.

This is precisely what I was looking for to start my morning, it is a combination of watching French programming like France 24 with a language learning app. I really hope the programmers continue to work on it, and that it stays well funded, with increasingly more integrative, intuition based ways of learning french and increased quality news coverage. Thank you! However, after the first day I realize just how badly it needs more news. It needs to have Atleast one new article a day to be truly useful

The topics are interesting. I need to improve my ability to understand spoken French. The vocabulary excises are good reinforcement.

News stories are interesting and so great to have video and transcript.

I have been using this app for a while, and while I appreciate the choice of clips and the insights given into diverse current events, I find that that learning apparatus is not particularly useful. The vocabulary chosen for inclusion in the list consists of words almost all of which have a very obvious English cognate. I understand that the app is intended for a multilingual international audience, and that knowledge of English cannot be assumed . However the reality is that millions of people worldwide have enough knowledge of English to be able to know, for example, what "le film" or "lartiste" mean. Almost uniformly, these kinds of too-easy words are chosen for the lists and "vocab building" games, while idiomatic expressions and puns, e.g. the double meaning of "aiguiller" in the recent piece on tattoos, are left without commentary. As such, I will not be using the app in my French classroom, but I do view the clips for my own interest.

Ive used this app daily since getting it aprox. 2 years ago. I feel that it has greatly advanced my spelling ability as well as expanded my French vocabulary. I recommend it to all levels of students as a quick and painless way to advance in your learning the language.

Needs a bug fix to play video on iOS.

Have loved this app in the past, but some of the videos dont load and play, even on iPad 4 with latest iOS. ie Argan Oil video

I use this app occasionally and, as an intermediate learner, find that I already know most of the chosen vocab words. However, there are usually several harder words I look up myself. These are the words I really want to learn. I wish the you would take the chosen vocabulary up a notch. The words are pretty elementary.
